Douiri language is one of the many closely related varieties the Berber language.

Today's Douiri language is infused with many Arabic words as well as Tunisian dialect with a myriad of foreign terms namely French and Italian. All inhabitants of Douiret, however, do speak Arabic as well.
Below are examples of some common Douiri terms. Notice that:
- Nouns generally begin with one of the three vowels: a (or the softer e), u (or the softer oo), and i.
- Feminine singular nouns start and end with the letters t (t_____t).
- Feminine plural takes the prefix t (t______ ).
